The Diamond Heart Qigong workshop was a HUGE success!!! It was a deep and fun-filled course that I encourage anyone who is a caregiver or in the healing arts to attend. This was such a helpful look at how people experience healthy relationships with clients or friends. Instructor, Chandler Yorkhall offered many heart-centered problem solving tools that lead "the way" to the most truthful and brightest outcomes. This 2 day ethics workshop has given me a deeper understanding of healing energy. How much substantial progress can happen when the practitioner focuses on "What would bring the person into health?" instead of making the main focus "What is the clients disease?"
Each Qigong movement was profound, practical and offered easy ways to center after each client, be present in daily life, heal the heart and find our own authentic movement as an individual and a practitioner.

Class Description: In Chinese medicine the heart is likened to the Emperor of the Realm, the final arbiter in all matters of importance. The heart is also the balance point between the energies of Heaven and Earth, the seat of intuition, and home to the Shen, or indwelling spirit. This system of qigong is designed to slowly and carefully transform the heart into a jewel of strength, integrity, and love.
As bodywork practitioners we can tap the immense resources of the heart to bring strength, clarity, and confidence to our personal practice; greater safety, depth, and connection to our client relationships; and a more authentic compassionate service to our community. We begin by using active and passive qigong meditations, reflective writing, and group exercises to explore the role of the heart in energy healing. The
intention is for participants to develop personalized methods to gently and safely open, support, and heal the heart energetic system. We will learn to bring the healing power of the heart clearly and strongly into our client sessions. Hands-on partner work will help to deepen the understanding of energy healing principles, and set the stage for a dynamic, expansive discussion of ethics, boundaries, and the healing relationship.
